The Challenge
Documents, workflows and collaboration were scattered across the National Council on Aging’s operations and partner network, with no single place teams could trust.
Our Approach
We built a SharePoint system designed around how their operations and partner network actually collaborate.
We then integrated it sector-wide rather than stopping at a single department, so partners and internal teams landed in the same system.
Sector-wide is the hard part of a rollout like this. An internal deployment only has to satisfy one set of conventions; a partner network has many, and the system has to accommodate how each organisation already works while still leaving one authoritative copy of each document.
Everything was unified into one source of truth that teams across the non-profit could finally work from together, with permissions and workflow following the collaboration that was already happening rather than cutting across it.
