The Challenge
Edge had a three-month runway for a new site and were about to hire two more people just to hit the deadline. The hires were the expensive part: permanent headcount added to clear a one-off bottleneck, carried long after the site had shipped.
Our Approach
We compressed the whole runway into a single pass rather than a phased schedule: scope agreed up front, design and implementation running together, and the complete production site — not a staged placeholder — live in 48 hours.
The 48-hour figure is a delivery model, not a heroic sprint. It comes from a fixed component system, decisions made in the room instead of over review cycles, and AI-assisted implementation on top of patterns we had already shipped elsewhere. It works when scope is settled early and someone on the client side can decide quickly.
AI pipelines were wired in for ongoing maintenance, so routine upkeep and content work does not require a permanent team sitting behind the site. That is what removed the case for the two extra hires rather than simply deferring it.
Alongside the build we restructured their internal tech team so ownership was unambiguous after handover, and stood up a dedicated task team to close the business gaps that were holding them back.
